Go out for a hike of a few hours or a day. Feel (almost) alone in the world.
France as a hiking country... Also in the Auvergne and in particular in the regional nature park Livradois-Forez. A low mountain range with a variety of beautiful natural landscapes, height differences with corresponding views and an enormous wealth of animals and plants. Directly from our B&B you can make beautiful hikes.
Hiking and cocooning
You will stay in one of our cosy rooms with a large box-spring bed and private bathroom and enjoy a delicious and extensive breakfast every morning.
We offer a packed lunch service.
In the evening, if you want, you can join the table d’hote (5 times a week).
It is also possible for us to do a small ‘walking’ laundry for you.
Or maybe you want to spend a day not hiking but visiting a museum, wandering around a regional market or just doing nothing at all… maybe a book and a glass of wine in the garden….
We recommend the Livradois Forez Rando application: many walks in our area, with a good description and a map. You can download the map and use it offline. You can also see yourself walking on the map. Available for download free of charge from the App Store and Google Play. Of course you can also use the other available maps, guides and routes.
